ROTISSERIE BUILDING

Coach builders make custom brackets to fasten the body to a rotisserie. The rotisserie is a great tool for classic, antique, vintage and historic auto restoration. It allows access to all areas of a vehicle. The rotisseries make welding seams much easier and allow for a full inspection of material thickness and structural integrity. In order to put a vehicle on a rotisserie the entire drive train must be removed so we only use the rotisserie during a complete restoration or when the vehicle must be completely disassembled to facilitate the repair and/or installation of new panels. Some vehicles are so badly rusted or have so little structural integrity left that the body must be braced or partial repair done before putting the car on the rotisserie.
