| The Velorex's "bodywork" consists of a frame of welded steel tubing covered with fabric panels which are attached
by press studs and are removable.
The fenders are metal. The car has four forward gears. The engine is able to run backwards so no reverse gear is necessary and, in fact, four reverse speeds are available too. The car is fitted with a rear-mounted Jawa
two-stroke air-cooled motorcycle engine.
