Originally built by Ford's Canadian Walkerville plant, this little car has returned from Michigan to Canada for a meticulous concours restoration.

Every single detail is checked and rechecked as work progresses to insure that this will be as faithful to the original as is possible.

Life With My Model A Ford

by Lee Watson

A dream that began 40 years ago reached a high point of achievement this February when we were invited to display our 1931 Town Sedan at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, February 13 through 23rd. This lovely Miss has been waiting for her turn in the spotlight ever since we purchased her in Windsor in 1963, just a few months after we were married. She had been stored and fussed with over the years and was taken back to Canada for her final restoration at the Guild of Automotive Restorers where she finally showed her original, raving beauty.

I've enclosed a photo of how she looked in 1963 at our first home in Detroit. Another photo shows her being boarded for Canada, with me gently coaxing her into the Guild's trailer. The last photos show how she looked posing with me and my wife Judi at the Retro Design exhibit at the Canadian auto show 2003. She really made us proud to be her owners!
