1912 Rochet Schneider

In 1913, it was estimated that French company Rochet-Schneider built no more than 700 cars.  When WW1 began in 1914, Rochet-Schneider switched production to trucks, making this particular car very rare.  Overall, it is in #2 condition.
Interior

The seats and door panels were recovered in 1995 with original pattern black leather and are in excellent condition.  The carpets are new black wool and are leather bound. The wooden dash panel was restored in 1996 and is in excellent condition.  The dash is fitted with an original Rochet-Schneider oil gauge.

Exterior

The body is in excellent condition.  The paint is maroon and black with gold pin striping.  There are only minor scratches and scuffs.  All the wood body trim and moldings have been newly refinished.

The car is fitted with Louis Sauvignon brass lamps, brass radiator, brass radiator cap, crank handle, cowl lamps and running board trim.  All are in very good condition.

Mechanical

The 4 cylinder engine was completely rebuilt in England and is painted and detailed.  The brass fittings show minor wear and are in very good condition.  It has a wooden firewall which has been very well restored.  The chassis is solid and has been painted but not detailed.  The electrical harness was replaced in 1996.
